MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Pharmacist to join our client's growing healthcare team near Santa Fe, New Mexico!
Key Responsibilities for Pharmacist:
- Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide guidance on their proper use.
- Full-time, permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
- Setting: Inpatient hospital setting.
- Review and interpret physician orders, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
- Provide medication therapy management and educate patients on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication use.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed, patient profiles, and insurance claims.
Pharmacist Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy program such as PharmD or RPh is required.
- Active licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of New Mexico.
- 1+ years of experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting required.
