We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Med-Surg RN Manager to lead and manage our Med-Surg nursing department. Med Surg Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and support to a team of Med-Surg nurses and healthcare staff.
• Oversee daily operations of the Med-Surg unit, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care delivery.
• Foster a collaborative, positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Ensure staff compliance with best practices, safety standards, and hospital protocols.
• Monitor and maintain patient care standards, including clinical quality, patient safety, and satisfaction.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient needs and departmental goals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the achievement of clinical and operational outcomes.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing staff to enhance skills and career growth.
• Collaborate with other departments, physicians, and leadership teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Med Surg Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role in Med-Surg nursing.
• BSN required; MSN or Nurse Management certification preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and quality improvement processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
