Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shifts

Are you a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist seeking a rewarding outpatient role? We’re hiring a Licensed Physical Therapist to join an interdisciplinary rehab team focused on adult patient care in North Central New Mexico. In this full-time position, you'll provide customized therapy interventions designed to restore mobility, improve strength, and enhance independence for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions.

What You’ll Do as a Physical Therapist 

  • Perform initial physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans 
  • Deliver hands-on therapeutic services, including functional mobility training, gait, and balance therapy 
  • Utilize various modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, cryotherapy, manual therapy, etc.) based on patient needs 
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies in collaboration with the care team and referring physicians 
  • Instruct patients and caregivers in safe home exercise programs and recovery education 
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EMR systems in compliance with regulatory standards 
  • Supervise PTAs and assist with training rehabilitation support staff as needed 
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities 

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

Education: 

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or BPT accepted) 

Licensure & Certifications: 

  • Current New Mexico Physical Therapist license required 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Open to new graduates; outpatient experience preferred

  • Knowledge of outpatient therapy techniques and best practices 
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills 
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced rehab setting
