Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift 

Location: North Central New Mexico

Are you an experienced CT Technologist looking to specialize in outpatient oncology care? We’re hiring a skilled CT Imaging Specialist to join a dedicated diagnostic team serving cancer patients in North Central New Mexico. In this full-time role, you’ll perform advanced CT and X-ray imaging procedures that support early diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do 

  • Perform CT scans and general diagnostic radiology procedures with a focus on oncology care 
  • Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and nurses to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging 
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain protocols, and provide compassionate support during exams 
  • Ensure correct image processing, documentation, and integration into PACS and EMR systems 
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintain a safe, clean diagnostic environment 
  • Assist with vitals, lab sample collection, ECGs, and medication support as needed 
  • Participate in safety checks, quality control protocols, and department training initiatives 
  • Uphold all infection control and Joint Commission standards in patient care areas 

 

Qualifications 

Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program 

Licensure & Certifications: 

  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R) required 
  • New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license required 
  • ARRT CT certification (or obtained within 12 months) 
  • BLS certification required 
  • Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire 

Experience: 

  • 1+ year of radiology experience (clinic or hospital); oncology experience preferred 

Skills: 

  • Proficiency with PACS, Cerner, Athena, or similar systems 
  • Strong interpersonal communication and patient service skills 
  • Knowledge of CT safety guidelines, positioning techniques, and radiation protection 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting
