Pediatric Clinical Nursing Manager / RN  

Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Shifts 
Pay / Salary Range: Competitive pay, based on experience and qualifications. 
Location: North Central New Mexico 

 

As a Clinical Manager in Pediatrics, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pediatric care, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Working closely with the Chief Nursing Executive and Medical Staff leadership, you will develop and implement clinical and educational programs that enhance patient care, drive operational efficiency, and improve provider and patient satisfaction. Clinical Manager Job Responsibilities 

  • Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight for the Pediatric department. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols, training programs, and operational procedures to ensure high standards of care. 
  • Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to enhance pediatric patient outcomes. 
  • Manage staffing, budgeting, and operational efficiency to maintain high-functioning clinical services. 
  • Identify and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, including Joint Commission requirements. 
  • Mentor and support nursing staff development, creating an environment of accountability, autonomy, and professional growth. 
  • Monitor service utilization and department performance, seeking opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining high-quality care. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program; BSN preferred. 
  • Current RN license in New Mexico or Compact state. 
  • BLS, NRP, and either PALS or ENPC certifications required. 
  • National certification in Pediatrics or Women’s Services is a plus. 
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Pediatrics or Women’s Services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience in interdisciplinary collaboration. 
  • Ability to develop staff, lead teams, and implement clinical best practices. 
  • Experience working with physicians and hospital leadership at an administrative level.
