Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Shifts

Are you a skilled Registered Nurse ready to take the next step into a leadership position? We’re seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our dynamic nursing team in North Central New Mexico. In this key role, you will oversee shift operations, guide nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of patient-centered care are consistently met. 

This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead within a supportive environment while making a meaningful impact on nursing quality, safety, and team collaboration. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide clinical and operational leadership during assigned shifts to ensure safe and effective patient care 
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote excellence in care delivery 
  • Monitor and coach nursing staff to uphold performance standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies 
  • Conduct patient rounds, support real-time service recovery, and address concerns with compassion and professionalism 
  • Assist with staff scheduling, patient assignments, and daily unit operations 
  • Serve as a resource during emergent events including Rapid Response and Code Blue situations 
  • Support orientation, education, and performance evaluations for new and current team members 
  • Maintain compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and documentation standards 
  • Participate in initiatives focused on quality improvement and operational efficiency 

 

Required Qualifications 

Education: 

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) 

Licensure & Certifications: 

  • Current RN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact eligible) 
  • BLS certification required 
  • ACLS required (or within 6 months of hire) 
  • PALS/NRP and TNCC as applicable to unit (or within 6 months of hire) 

Experience: 

  • 3+ years of relevant RN experience preferred 
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus 

Skills: 

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills 
  • Ability to lead teams with confidence and clarity 
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and shift management systems 
  • Skilled in mentoring, coaching, and conflict resolution
