Registered Nurse Qualifications 

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 
• Licensure: Current, temporary, or compact license to practice nursing in New Mexico 
• Possess a current CPR card or be enrolled in the next available class 

Registered Nurse Responsibilities 

• Provide excellent patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs 
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes 
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed 
• Accurately document patient care and maintain patient records 
• Continuously update nursing knowledge and skills through professional development activities
