We are seeking a Certified Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our professional imaging team in North Central New Mexico. Job Description – Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities 

Perform Diagnostic X-Rays: 

Capture clear, high-quality radiographic images to assist physicians in accurate medical diagnoses and treatment planning. 

Prepare and Position Patients: 

Provide compassionate support while preparing and positioning patients for radiologic exams, following safety and comfort protocols. 

Maintain Imaging Equipment: 

Ensure radiology equipment is operating efficiently; report any malfunctions and assist with basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. 

Image Management: 

Accurately upload and organize images in PACS systems, confirming patient identifiers and applying correct markers and documentation. 

Ensure Radiation Safety: 

Follow all ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize exposure risks to patients, staff, and yourself. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

Licensure & Certification: 

  • Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification 
  • Valid New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license 
  • BLS certification (required) 

Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience, OR 
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program 

Experience: 

  • Previous experience in diagnostic imaging preferred 
  • New graduates encouraged to apply 

Key Skills: 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management 
  • Proficient in EMR/PACS systems and imaging software 
  • Ability to work effectively in high-volume clinical environments
