Med Surg RN Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensure: Current, temporary, or compact license to practice nursing in New Mexico
- Possess a current CPR card or be enrolled in the next available class
Med Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Accurately document patient care and maintain patient records
- Continuously update nursing knowledge and skills through professional development activities
