MLR is looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our clients esteemed rehabilitation team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement patient treatment plans to promote recovery and improve overall physical function. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients regain their mobility and achieve their health goals.

Key Responsibilities for a Physical Therapist (PT) :

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and exercises to address patient-specific needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise regimens, home care, and strategies for enhancing physical function and mobility.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and effective patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and incorporate evidence-based techniques into treatment plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe and supportive environment.

PT Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred, with a solid understanding of physical therapy techniques and modalities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach, focused on delivering high-quality care and supporting patient recovery.
