MLR is seeking a talented Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated surgical team. In this vital role, you will assist surgeons and contribute to the seamless execution of all operating room procedures. Your expertise will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of patient care and ensuring successful surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities for the Surgical Technologist:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after surgical interventions.
• Support surgeons by providing essential instruments, supplies, and equipment during operations.
• Prepare and oversee surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring proper sterilization and readiness.
• Monitor and enforce sterile techniques and infection control practices throughout procedures.
• Assist with positioning patients and preparing them for surgery.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to anticipate needs and ensure smooth workflow.
• Keep accurate and comprehensive documentation of surgical procedures and patient information.

Qualifications for the Surgical Technologist:

• Completion of a Surgical Technology program accredited by the appropriate authority.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required to be obtained before starting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary prior to commencement.
• Experience in a surgical setting is preferred, with a solid understanding of surgical procedures and techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of sterilization practices and infection control protocols is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
