Key Responsibilities for an RN:

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, including tracking vital signs and responding to any changes in health status.
  • Administer medications, provide treatments, and offer hands-on patient care tailored to individual needs.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records throughout all stages of treatment.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies, adhering to hospital protocols and ensuring patient safety.
  • Uphold a clean and safe environment by following infection control guidelines and hospital policies.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in New Mexico is required).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
