Are you a passionate RN leader ready to make a difference in perinatal and women’s health nursing? We’re hiring a Perinatal Nurse Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care in a progressive hospital setting. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to influence maternal-child outcomes, mentor nursing teams, and collaborate across disciplines in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities – Nurse Manager, Perinatal Services
- Manage clinical workflows and nursing operations across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Nursery units
- Ensure high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and mentorship for nurses and unit staff
- Lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with maternal and newborn health outcomes
- Foster effective communication between providers, nursing teams, and support departments
- Support family-centered care with a focus on safety, compassion, and cultural sensitivity
- Promote professional growth and continuing education through competency evaluations and staff development programs
- Monitor and report on patient satisfaction, unit KPIs, and team engagement
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RN license in New Mexico (or compact-eligible)
- BLS required
- National certification in OB, Inpatient Obstetrics, Maternal-Newborn, or Nurse Executive preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in women’s services, obstetric, or perinatal nursing
- At least 2 years in a nurse leadership or supervisory capacity
Skills:
- Expertise in obstetric clinical care, team management, and regulatory readiness
- Effective leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities
- Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
- Proven ability to drive outcomes in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
