Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, recommend diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care strategies
• Assess and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (based on your credentialing)
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies
• Prescribe medications and treatment interventions within your regulatory scope

Necessary Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Mexico
