Lead the Future of Pediatric Care: Job Responsibilities 

• Oversee the day-to-day nursing operations in the Pediatric department, ensuring high standards of care. 
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. 
• Provide mentorship, leadership, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff. 
• Collaborate with physicians, hospital administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care coordination. 
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain efficiency and effectiveness. 
• Uphold regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and best practices in pediatric nursing. 
• Develop and maintain education and training programs to support clinical excellence. 

Job Qualifications 

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program; BSN preferred. 
• Current RN license in New Mexico or Compact state. 
• BLS, NRP, and either PALS or ENPC certifications required. 
• 5+ years of clinical experience in Pediatrics or Women’s Services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams. 
• Experience working with hospital administration, interdisciplinary collaboration, and performance improvement.
