Lead the Future of Pediatric Care: Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day nursing operations in the Pediatric department, ensuring high standards of care.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship, leadership, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, hospital administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care coordination.
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and best practices in pediatric nursing.
- Develop and maintain education and training programs to support clinical excellence.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program; BSN preferred.
- Current RN license in New Mexico or Compact state.
- BLS, NRP, and either PALS or ENPC certifications required.
- 5+ years of clinical experience in Pediatrics or Women’s Services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
- Experience working with hospital administration, interdisciplinary collaboration, and performance improvement.
