MLR is seeking a dedicated, full-time Nurse Manager to lead our client’s Medical-Surgical unit at a top-rated healthcare facility near Albuquerque, NM!

Key Responsibilities for Nurse Manager:

• Manage daily operations of the Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies in alignment with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor patient outcomes and quality indicators, spearheading initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
• Facilitate thorough patient education and provide resources for patients and families.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Nurse Manager – Medical-Surgical:

• Active RN license in New Mexico.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master’s in Nursing (MSN) is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• ACLS and CPR certifications required; additional certifications are advantageous.
