Key Responsibilities for Pharmacist:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide expert advice on safe, effective use.
- This is a full-time, direct-hire role in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Carefully review physician prescriptions to ensure proper and safe medication delivery.
- Conduct medication therapy management, offering education on drug interactions, side effects, and correct usage.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and nurses, to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Keep meticulous records of all dispensed medications, patient profiles, and insurance documentation.
Pharmacist Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy program (PharmD or RPh).
- Active Pharmacist license in New Mexico required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy preferred.
