ASCP Laboratory Technologist/Technician - Full-Time

The Medical Technologist will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory science, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Testing: Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests.
- Quality Control: Execute and document quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Sample Analysis: Analyze body fluids, tissues, and other substances using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Data Interpretation: Interpret test results and correlate laboratory findings with clinical data to support healthcare providers in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements.
