The CT Supervisor will manage the daily functions of the CT department, ensuring a seamless workflow, adherence to safety standards, and exemplary patient care. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership abilities, substantial experience in CT imaging, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Management: Direct and coordinate the activities of CT technologists, offering guidance and support to ensure peak performance.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient safety, conducting regular quality control checks and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for CT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage, minimizing wait times and enhancing patient satisfaction.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all CT equipment is properly maintained and functioning, coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as necessary, ensuring a positive experience through effective communication and compassionate service.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procedures, quality control tests, and staff performance, providing reports to upper management as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
  • NJ DEP License,
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in CT technology and imaging protocols, excellent organizational abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of radiologic safety standards and regulatory requirements.
