Assistant Nurse Manager - Registered Nurse - Med / Surg

An assistant nurse manager works with an assigned nurse manager and provides oversight for patient care and nursing services on their assigned unit and shift. This includes the promotion of quality evidence-based care and patient satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner.

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Four (4) year minimum of work experience as a registered in the specialty area preferred
