ASCP Medical Technician (MT/MLT)

MLee Healthcare is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic team. The Medical Technologist will perform various laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to providing accurate and reliable results.

Shift:

• Evenings, 3p-11p
• Night coverage as needed, 11p-7a
• Alternating weekends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field for Medical Technologist position. Associate's degree or certificate from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program for Medical Laboratory Technician position.
• ASCP or other relevant certification preferred.
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and accurately record test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
