Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, conducting physical examinations and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab reports
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Support intraoperative procedures through room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument exchange
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharge, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
