Position Overview
We invite a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our dynamic imaging department, renowned for its excellence in patient care. You will leverage advanced ultrasound technology to conduct a wide variety of diagnostic exams while working in collaboration with a collaborative group of healthcare professionals to ensure every patient receives accurate diagnoses in a compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during the procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and professionalism
- Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues immediately
- Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical systems
- Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and clinical best practices
Educational Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Necessary Certifications
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

- Strong proficiency in sonographic imaging procedures and patient positioning
