MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire, MRI Supervisor who will oversee the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring efficient workflow, strict adherence to safety protocols, and exceptional patient care for a well-respected hospital in the Southern Jersey area. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in MRI imaging, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
MRI Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Management: Lead and coordinate the activities of MRI technologists, providing guidance and support to achieve optimal performance.

- Quality Control: Uphold high standards of imaging quality and patient safety by conducting regular quality control checks and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for MRI staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage, minimizing wait times and enhancing patient satisfaction.
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as necessary, ensuring a positive experience through effective communication and compassionate service.
Supervisor Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI. NJ DEP License.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in MRI technology and imaging protocols, excellent organizational abilities.
