Job Summary: MLR is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dedicated team at a reputable facility in Vermont. In this role, you’ll perform diagnostic imaging exams to assist in the diagnosis of patient conditions and injuries. Key responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging results. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver precise and timely diagnostic images.
Responsibilities for a Radiologic Technologist:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Position patients correctly and administer contrast materials when necessary.
- Ensure equipment is in working order and perform routine maintenance.
- Follow protocols to obtain high-quality images and maintain patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret imaging results.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection measures.
- Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in imaging technology.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.
Rad Tech Job Requirements:
- ARRT (R) (CT) certified
- Vermont Radiologic Technologist License needed upon start date
- BLS certified
