Position Overview: As a Radiology Technologist, you will be an essential part of our imaging department, responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures and ensuring accurate diagnostic results. Your role will involve operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Review and analyze images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards and quality.
- Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Vermont.
- Proven experience in performing radiographic exams.
- Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, safety protocols, and patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
