Position Overview: As a Radiology Technologist, you will be an essential part of our imaging department, responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures and ensuring accurate diagnostic results. Your role will involve operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Review and analyze images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards and quality.
  • Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Vermont.
  • Proven experience in performing radiographic exams.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, safety protocols, and patient care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
