Night Shift - 3x12 schedule

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an IPCU (Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit) Night Shift Nurse. As an IPCU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with acute psychiatric conditions during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients' mental health status throughout the night.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Implementing and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Providing therapeutic interventions and crisis management as needed.
• Documenting patient care and progress accurately and timely.

Requirements:

• Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, treatments, and medications.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification preferred.
