Job Summary:

As a Med-Surg RN, you will provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes and a supportive healing atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Experience in a Med-Surg setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Schedule:

• Full-time position with flexible scheduling.
• Includes rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage as required.
