Certified Athletic Trainer

Job Summary:
As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will provide preventative care, emergency treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes and active individuals. You’ll work closely with coaches, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure athletes receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat athletic injuries on-site, offering immediate care.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and conditioning programs.
- Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-play plans for injured athletes.
- Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and progress.
- Educate athletes, coaches, and families on injury management and prevention.
- Attend practices and events to provide ongoing support and care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
- State licensure in Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of sports medicine practices and emergency care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for practices and events.
