Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, focusing on comprehensive physical exams and meticulous medical history reviews
• Engage in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical cases by analyzing imaging studies and lab tests
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, ensuring operating rooms are ready and patients are positioned correctly, while proficiently managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a surgical focus

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Must hold state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
