Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive array of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, explaining the process with empathy and transparency
• Partner closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Keep thorough documentation of examinations and maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent credential is required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
