MLR is seeking a dedicated full-time, permanent, direct-hire Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a well-respected hospital team near Omaha, Nebraska. Key Responsibilities for NP/PA:

• Patient Care: Perform medical services under the supervision of a supervising physician in an outpatient orthopedic clinic and hospital setting.
• Examinations: Conduct history and physical examinations, write progress notes, and assess patients’ medical conditions.
• Patient Education: Counsel and educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Surgical Support: Assist physicians in surgery and contribute to surgical procedures as needed.
• Medical Orders: Initiate surgical orders, prescribe medications, and manage patient care within the scope delegated by the supervising physician.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

Qualifications for NP/PA:

• Current Nebraska APRN-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Clinical and surgical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
