Key Responsibilities for NP/PA:
- Patient Care: Perform medical services under the supervision of a supervising physician in an outpatient orthopedic clinic and hospital setting.
- Examinations: Conduct history and physical examinations, write progress notes, and assess patients’ medical conditions.
- Patient Education: Counsel and educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Surgical Support: Assist physicians in surgery and contribute to surgical procedures as needed.
- Medical Orders: Initiate surgical orders, prescribe medications, and manage patient care within the scope delegated by the supervising physician.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Qualifications for NP/PA:
- Current Nebraska APRN-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Clinical and surgical experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
