MLR is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse who is eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. Join our team as a Home Health/Hospice RN, where you’ll provide exceptional care in a supportive and enriching environment! In this role, you’ll have the chance to build lasting relationships with patients while tailoring your care to meet their unique needs. Your expertise and empathy will be vital in enhancing their quality of life during critical moments.
Responsibilities:
- Administering IV therapy, venipuncture, wound care, and managing wound vacs.
- Providing hospice care and coordinating treatment among physicians, facilities, patients, families, and rehabilitation services.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Offering emotional support and guidance throughout the hospice journey.
- Taking weekday and weekend call on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited clinical education program.
- Valid RN license in the state of Nebraska.
- BSN or a commitment to obtain one.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in home health or hospice care preferred.
- Must be able to drive your own vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license, and carry car insurance.
