Job Summary: The Lab Manager role is responsible for supervising and performing technical and administrative tasks on a day-to-day basis in support of the lab's research and operational needs.
Qualifications:
  • Applicable degree and 2-4 years of direct experience
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment, procedures, techniques and scientific methods of measurement
  • Understand and follow safe handling of hazardous chemicals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate in a professional manner
Responsibility:

The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the department’s administrative functions such as scheduling, employee evaluations and competencies, inventories and other department and personnel issues.

The Laboratory Manager works closely on testing methodology and procedures, verification of testing, resolution of technical problems, QC issues, and other clinical/technical issues for multiple laboratories

Maintains comprehensive knowledge of institutional/departmental policies and promotes consistent interpretation and adherence
