Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients’ conditions to create personalized treatment strategies that aid them in attaining their functional aspirations
• Implement Evidence-Based Techniques: Employ researched methodologies to improve patients’ motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living competencies
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Engage closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure integrated, comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapeutic practices to encourage sustained progress outside the clinical setting
• Track and Adapt Treatment: Monitor clinical advancements and adjust therapies as necessary to keep patients on track towards their goals

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education opportunities or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensing & Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
