Qualifications / Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with either an Associate Degree (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• At least one year of nursing experience in mental and behavioral health
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required

Summary:

The RN in Behavioral Health is responsible for providing safe and effective care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' mental health needs, developing and implementing nursing diagnoses, and evaluating individualized care plans. The RN will use specialized knowledge and critical thinking to create tailored strategies, ensure patient safety, delegate tasks appropriately, and educate patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
