Make a Difference as an Acute Physical Therapist in Big Springs, NE (Hospital Setting)

Are you a compassionate and driven Physical Therapist ready to make a meaningful impact in acute care? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our hospital-based rehabilitation team in Big Springs, Nebraska, where you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence during some of the most crucial moments of their recovery. Your clinical skills and patient-first approach will play a key role in improving outcomes and restoring lives.

What You’ll Do

Conduct Comprehensive Patient Assessments

  • Evaluate each patient’s condition and functional limitations to design individualized treatment plans suited for acute recovery.

Deliver Therapeutic Interventions

  • Implement physical therapy techniques such as manual therapy, mobility training, and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient’s stage of healing and care goals.

Monitor and Adjust Treatment Plans

  • Track patient progress closely, making real-time modifications to ensure continued improvement and safe recovery.

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams

  • Work in partnership with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and case managers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care in a hospital environment.

Educate and Support Patients and Families

  • Teach patients and caregivers techniques for safe movement, home exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to ensure long-term success and injury prevention.

Encourage Mobility and Wellness

  • Champion early mobility and promote physical activity as an essential part of healing and overall wellness.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
  • New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply

Licensure & Certification:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Nebraska
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics, neuro) are a plus

Skills & Experience:

  • Acute care or hospital experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment
