MLee has been selected to recruit a Radiology Manager for a facility in the Devil's Lake region.

Qualifications:

• Must possess critical thinking skills and be capable of assuming complete departmental authority and responsibility in the absence of the Manager and Director
• Required: Associate’s Degree or graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Required: 3-7 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging, Director or Managerial experience in Radiology
• Registered Radiology Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required upon hire
• Licensed by ND Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day clinical, technical and operational functions within the Imaging department
• This includes, but is not limited to, the efficient, effective procurement, utilization and stewardship of all technical, physical and human resources
• Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from neonate to geriatric
• Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities
• Assures competency of all personnel
• Must be capable of interpreting and administering all policies, procedures and protocols of the department, hospital and partnership
• Responsibilities of the Supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging Services - CT Department
• Resolve personnel concerns at the departmental level, utilizing the grievance process as required
• Assist with selection, disciplinary action and assessment of clinical staff within the CT Dept
• Ensure availability of adequately trained/licensed staff to maintain departmental function
• Maintain flow of communication between all staff through monthly staff meetings, memos, bulletin boards, emails, and formal and/or informal discussions Assist with performance of procedures as needed during times of high volume
• Floats staff between departments as needed to optimize throughput
• Reviews all orders for completeness prior to assigning to technologist
• Reviews all imaging studies and paperwork to ensure quality and accuracy, prior to sending to reading room for interpretation
• Communicates with physicians/Radiologists as needed to facilitate department schedule/optimal patient care
• Effectively and consistently communicates administrative directives to personnel and encourages interactive departmental meetings and discussions

EDUCATION:

• Required: Associate’s Degree or graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree-Major: Radiologic Sciences or Business Administration

EXPERIENCE:

• Required: 3-7 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging or Management in Radiology
• Preferred: Prior leadership experience.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Registered Radiology Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required upon hire
• Current BLS for Providers with American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Licensed by ND Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
