Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of lab tests in microbiology, blood banking, chemistry, hematology, and more.
• Collect and process specimens with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring quality control.
• Analyze and interpret test results to support patient care.
• Communicate findings effectively with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from an accredited program.
• Certification & Licensing: Eligible or registered as an MLT (ASCP) or equivalent; must obtain North Dakota licensure.
• Additional Requirements: BLS (CPR) certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.
• Experience: At least 6-12 months in a hospital training program preferred.
