**Salary: $50,800 - $70,000**

MLee Healthcare is recruiting a MT/MLT for a top hospital system in North Dakota.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position that involves working 72 to 80 hours over a two-week pay period. The schedule is typically 7 days on and 7 days off, with work hours from Wednesday night to Wednesday morning, with two shift options of either 8 PM to 6:30 AM or 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing in various areas such as blood banking, microbiology, serology, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis. You will collect specimens, perform laboratory procedures, maintain equipment, evaluate test results, and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and processing specimens
  • Performing laboratory test procedures and evaluating results
  • Analyzing quality control data and making decisions on patient results
  • Maintaining equipment and seeking ways to improve quality
  • Providing laboratory services to various age groups
  • Maintaining current job knowledge and interpersonal skills
  • Adhering to hospital and department policies and safety protocols
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology or a related science with 12 months of clinical education from an approved school of medical technology
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent
  • Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in ND

Alternatively, for the Medical Technologist (HEW), the qualification requires successful completion of a qualifying exam offered by the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, and 6 to 12 months of hospital training.
