MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Critical-Care Pharmacist to join a well-rooted team in an inpatient acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have completed a PGY1 or PGY2 residency and will be responsible for delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients.
Pay: Competitive hourly wage starting at $53.73.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medication management for critically ill patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Medication Review: Conduct thorough reviews of medication regimens, identify potential drug interactions, and make recommendations for therapy adjustments.
- Education: Educate healthcare staff and patients on medication-related topics, including new therapies and best practices in critical care pharmacotherapy.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Research and Development: Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of critical care pharmacy practice.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 residency in pharmacy.
- Licensure: Valid pharmacist license in the state of employment.
- Experience: Experience in critical care settings is preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
