Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage medication therapy protocols.
Analyze, interpret, and assess prescription orders to prevent and address potential or actual medication-related issues.
Provide essential medication information and educational support to physicians, healthcare staff, patients, and pharmacy interns.
Record and monitor interventions and outcomes to enhance medication therapy management initiatives.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of medication orders prior to and after processing by pharmacy technicians.
Stay informed about and proficient in the use of pharmacy technology and software.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Background: Must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree
Experience: One year of hospital experience
Certifications and Licenses: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a valid Pharmacist License
