Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping patients improve their respiratory function and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing patients' respiratory conditions, reviewing medical histories, and performing diagnostic tests.
• Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Administering medications and providing respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitoring and evaluating patient responses to treatments, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and their families about respiratory conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
• Operating and maintaining respiratory equipment, ensuring their proper functioning.
• Assisting in emergency situations such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Documenting patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic medical records (EMRs).

Qualifications:

• Valid and current license/certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical setting.
• Proficient knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, procedures, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of cardiopulmonary anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
