Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nursing Director to oversee our PCU/ICU department, serving as the primary manager for this specialized nursing unit, its patients, and staff. This role carries 24-hour responsibility for the unit’s operations. The Nursing Director will strategize, coordinate, and manage fiscal, personnel, and patient care activities to ensure adherence to standards of care and practice, tailored to patient needs and age considerations, while striving for cost efficiency. Additionally, the Nursing Director will play a pivotal role in integrating the nursing area(s) into the broader organizational framework.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
Three (3) years of previous nursing supervisory experience (preferred)
Required Skills:
Strong critical thinking abilities
Decisive judgment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Current clinical competence relevant to the patient population served
