Job Responsibilities:

Providing assistance during invasive angio and interventional procedures in the Interventional Radiology Suite.
Coordinating surgical scrub and circulation tasks to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the procedure.
Monitoring patients within the Interventional Radiology area.
Conducting specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional and angiographic procedures under the guidance of a physician.
Explaining procedures to patients and preparing them for the upcoming intervention.
Procuring medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast materials for administration as directed by a licensed practitioner, authorized/certified technologist, or registered nurse.
Ensuring patient comfort and providing necessary supplies during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures.
Managing the removal of catheters/sheaths and applying appropriate pressure or clamps.
Offering timely and accurate reports, including hemodynamic reports, contrast media records, and charges.
Inputting patient data and inventory into the designated program, as well as arranging for the review of films.
Notifying leadership or the department engineer about any equipment malfunctions for prompt repairs.
