Certified Surgical Scrub Technician – Operating Room

What you'll do:
Supports surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, functioning both independently and collaboratively in the surgical suite. Ensures thorough preparation of the operating suite and monitors the inventory of surgical instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental meetings and performance improvement initiatives.
Responsible for washing, assembling, maintaining, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director of Surgical Services. Adheres to hospital policies and standards set by AORN, AAMI, OSHA, CDC, TJC, and other regulatory agencies to uphold a safe patient and clinician environment. Handles confidential patient information and surgery schedules without supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Graduate of Accredited Surgical Technology program
- Surgical Technologist certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
