Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Neonatal Pediatric RRT to join our team. As a Neonatal Pediatric RRT, you will provide respiratory therapy care to critically ill newborns and pediatric patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, medications, and oxygen therapy as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor and assess patients' respiratory conditions and provide appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about their respiratory conditions, treatments, and medications
  • Ensure that patients receive appropriate care and support during their hospitalization
  • Follow standard respiratory therapy procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as needed
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
  • Adhere to ethical and legal respiratory therapy standards

Requirements:

  • Active RRT license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and work under pressure
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
