ARRT MRI Technologist - Day Shift
MLR is partnering with a large, well-established hospital in North Carolina to recruit a skilled MRI Technologist for a full-time, day shift role. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced MRI Tech to work with advanced imaging technology and contribute to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Imaging Procedures: Perform high-quality MRI scans, following established protocols to ensure clear, accurate diagnostic images.
- Patient Interaction: Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explain the process, address any concerns, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate MRI equipment safely and perform routine checks and minor maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic information.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting each procedure in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Safety Standards: Adhere to safety and infection control protocols, including proper handling of contrast agents and compliance with all MRI safety guidelines.
ARRT MRI Technologist - Day Shift Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certification: Active ARRT (MRI) certification and North Carolina MRI technologist licensure required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MRI equipment and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
