Circulating Registered Nurse Position

We’re excited to welcome a skilled Circulating Registered Nurse to our surgical team in a full-time role. This role is central to ensuring that each patient receives top-quality care, emphasizing safety, comfort, and support throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a sterile, well-prepared operating room environment with fully functioning equipment.
• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments, confirming patient readiness and addressing any concerns.
• Continuously monitor and document vital signs and patient status during procedures, quickly adapting to any changes.
• Provide surgical team members with required instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Advocate for patients’ safety and comfort, ensuring the highest standards are met.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care, treatments, and responses.
• Coordinate effectively with all surgical team members to support a seamless workflow.
• Facilitate postoperative transitions, communicating with families to provide clear updates on patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Active Montana State RN license and BSN/ASN required.
• Strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Calm and composed under pressure, with sharp assessment skills.
• At least one year of experience in a surgical or OR setting.
• Skilled in maintaining sterile conditions and assisting during surgeries.
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation practices.
• Cooperative and effective in a team setting, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate communicator with patients and families.
