Charge Registered Nurse
We're seeking an experienced RN to take on the leadership role of charge RN. This position offers the chance to lead a team while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care. You'll provide support to nursing staff, help coordinate care and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Montana
- Will consider an associate degree, bachelor's degree, preferred
- BLS, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to lead with confidence and manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities include:
Our Charge Nurse: You'll supervise nursing and support staff during each shift, ensuring that care is delivered safely and efficiently. Collaboration with providers and departments is key as you coordinate patient care. You'll respond to emergencies and urgent situations, making critical decisions as needed. Delegating tasks and managing priorities will help keep the shift running smoothly. In this role, you'll offer ongoing guidance and support to your team while maintaining accurate, timely documentation. Promoting patient safety and upholding infection control standards are central to your practice. You'll also serve as a communication point between physicians, families, and on-call staff. Managing admissions, discharges, and patient flow is a key responsibility, along with ensuring continued compliance with CAH regulations and policies.
